I have always been interested in making movies, but suppose I found it pretty intimidating. Last year, I began and finished my first screenplay (and the subsequent film, Dill, California) by following the Robert Rodriguez school of "guerilla filmmaking." Together with 20 or so friends and family members, we filmed from August to October of 2006, and now the film is ready for festivals. Hopefully the other screenplays will enjoy similar (and more ambitious!) fates. My advice: Follow your dreams. Now.
