I have no formal training but I like to take pictures of things I like. In Sonoma County California is where I can usually be found. I might be taking a picture of a Black Widow spider, or of anything interesting in the San Francisco Bay Area. Bodega Bay and the California Redwoods are great spots, as well as Mt. Tamalpais and many others up and down the Northern California coast. Many times I venture outside Northern California, and take pictures of places like Antelope Canyon, Havasu Falls, Central Park, or the California desert region. If you're looking for a great California picture, you've found the right place. I have important bloodlines in the person of Frederick Law Olmsted, a distant cousin, who is the father of landscape architecture and the designer of Central Park, Stanford Campus, and many others. I am always on the lookout for hidden spots and for The Real California.

I use a Canon F-1 35mm SLR Camera, usually with Kodak 200 speed Film. I like to experiment with Infrared film and Polaroid Emulsion prints.
