I was born in Sonoma, California in the "golden hour" haze of the 1970's. My friends and I had the run of the town, and riding our BMX bicycles was our salvation. The son of a conservationist and a hiker, I was raised in the Pygmy Forests of Mendocino, the creeks of Glen Ellen, the trails of Yosemite and the beaches of Bodega Bay. My father was a nature photographer and, as I tried to be nothing like him, I ended up becoming a nature photographer too. I enjoy using pictures, moving or still, to tell stories and my only hope is that I can somehow turn that love into a career.
I like old cars, starry nights, Tom Petty, and women with long legs; but not necessarily in that order.
